Problem

Your AutoSPF flattened SPF record exceeds 10 lookups and you need to switch your Domain's AutoSPF configuration to use our macro-based flattening mechanism.

Background Information

Macro-Flattening is a premium feature of AutoSPF and is only included by default in our higher tier subscription packages.  If you think you need access to it, but don't have the option available in your interface, contact technical support to see what is required to get the feature added to your account.

For details on how this mechanism is implemented, see our KB article on How AutoSPF Macro-Flattening Works.

Solution

1.  Log into your AutoSPF account and open the settings for the domain that has too many Lookups in the SPF record.

2.  On the right side of the screen look for the green box with a title 'Macro SPF Record'.  Click the 'Generate Record' button at the bottom of this box.

3.  Once the record is generated in our system, the interface will update and you will now see a green box titled 'Macro-flattened SPF Record'.  You should then replace the SPF record in DNS for your domain with the new SPF record entry shown at the bottom if the box.

NOTE: You may notice the new record uses a 'redirect' mechanism whereas previously you were using an 'include' for our standard SPF Flattening mechanism.
