Welcome to AutoSPF

This product is quite simple to set up.  We have a quick start guide which will show you most of the steps.  We have more detailed information on each step that you can read below as well.

You can pre-configure everything in our system ahead of time without it impacting production since our system doesn't take effect until you update the live SPF records in your own DNS.

1.  Sign Up!

Pick a plan that is right for you and sign up for a 1 month free trial.  You can cancel your subscription before the end of the month and you will not be charged.

2.  Add your Domain

Once you can log into the service, add the domain(s) you want to get started with.

3.  Review / Update the SPF Mechanisms

AutoSPF will show you the parts of your SPF record in an easy-to-manage format.  You can make changes if needed before going live.

4.  Verify Your Flattened Record

This is an optional step where you can use our suggested 3rd party tool to check our 'flattened' SPF records before performing the final update of your own SPF record.

5.  Update your SPF record in DNS

In order to start using the flattened SPF records in our system for your domain, you will need to replace your live SPF record with the unique flattened one we provide for each of your domains.  This will allow SPF queries to start using the flattened records that AutoSPF manages for you!

6.  Configure Additional Features

Depending on your subscription level you may also set up optional features such as Alerts, designate domain responsibilities using Teams, manage our product via API calls and more.  Refer to our Knowledge Base to find more information on each of these.
